The emergence of novel targeted complement inhibitors has created new opportunities to improve the health outcomes for patients with C3 glomerulopathy (C3G). Andrew Bomback, MD, MPH, discusses the contemporary management of patients with C3G, highlighting the disease burden and complement pathway dysregulation. The safety and efficacy of approved targeted complement inhibitors are reviewed, including the importance of long-term monitoring and associated vaccination strategies. Dr. Bomback also shares his thoughts about providing personalized care by an interprofessional care team.
