Perfecting the Use of Neurotoxins in Facial Aesthetics... Decisions, Decisions

This activity is a video presentation of a recent independent symposium held in conjunction with the American Society for Dermatological Surgery and American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology & Aesthetic Surgery 2009 Annual Meeting. The video includes presentations by experts in the field of facial aesthetics: Dr. Gary Monheit, Dr. Mitchel Goldman, and Dr. Ava Shamban. It examines the scientific and clinical nuances of available neurotoxins in the US and offers participants keen insights into achieving optimal results with these agents, based on an understanding of muscle kinesiology, differences in pharmacokinetics, and injection techniques. Key recommendations and guidance on the use of neurotoxins in aesthetics from an international consensus conference are featured.
This activity was developed for dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and core cosmetic physicians who use neurotoxins in facial cosmetic enhancements.
