The Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower provides continuing professional development activities for a variety of health care professionals. Activities range from local Grand Rounds and Tumor Board conferences for the staff of Eisenhower Medical Center to activities designed for national and international audiences.

Tumor Conference is a weekly meeting at which physicians, oncologists, diagnostic radiologists, pathologists and others discuss the clinical case of one or more patients. The care team presents clinical problems in medicine by focusing on current or interesting cases. Every Monday (unless otherwise noted) 12:00 - 1:00 PM (PST) At the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences Tumor Conference is free; there is a buffet lunch available for $6.25

Grand rounds originated as part of residency training wherein new information was taught and clinical reasoning skills were enhanced. Grand rounds today are an integral component of medical education. They present clinical problems in medicine by focusing on current or interesting cases.
