Educational
programs from the Annenberg Center are based on solid instructional
design principles. These include a needs assessment, defining the
intended audience and the instructional objectives, program design and
media selection, production, formative evaluation and revision,
dissemination, and summative evaluation of the educational program.
The educational activities we employ have been developed to answer
specific instructional needs. We strive to apply the instructional
medium (or media) that best conveys the content in a cost-effective
manner appropriate for the specific audience and learning objectives.
We are happy to discuss how these models may meet your needs, or to
develop new program models, or a model that is a combination of
elements from these models.
