Accreditation with Commendation

The Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower is very pleased to announce the Accreditations Council for Continuing Medical Education's (ACCME) recent decision to grant the Annenberg Center Accreditation with Commendation status upon the successful completion of its most recent self-study. This places the Annenberg Center in the top echelon of providers achieving accreditation utilizing the 2006 criteria.

As you can imagine, we are very proud of this Accreditation with Commendation as it adds to the growing list of accomplishments we have have achieved over the last 28 years of providing trusted educational programming.

The Annenberg Center believes this recognition speaks to its on-going commitment to provide the highest quality continuing medical education to physicians as well as all health care providers. It also reflects the Center's commitment to be among the leaders in CME organizations transitioning to integrate CME into actively improving professional practices depicted by Criteria 16-22 of the updated 2006 criteria.

Although this is an honor we share with our CME colleagues, we feel there is still much yet to achieve in our efforts to bring a quality and meaningful continuing educational product to our physicians to improve clinical practices and ultimately the health of our local community, our state, and the nation. We look forward to continuing this effort.
